MAITRI, an exhibition of art works created at the India-China Women Artist’s Residency is inaugurated today by the auspicious hands of Professor Lokesh Chandra, President, ICCR at India International Centre.

At the inauguration,
Professor Lokesh Chandra said that the artists of the two countries have
produced some beautiful art works which reflects the creative instincts of
these two countries.
The residency
was held from November 5th-9th in Jaipur and the
participating artists are; Asma Menon, Bulbul Sharma, Chen Yanyin, Gogi Saroj
Pal, Kanchan Chander, Kiran Murdia, Lu Yewei, Madhuri Bhaduri, Meenakshi
Kasliwal Bharti, Nupur Kundu, Rekha Rao, Sheetal Gattani, Tang Baoling, Wan
Yuhong, Yang Yan, and Zhao Aihua. The
two guest artists were He Daqiao and Lu Yuanshan.
The
exhibition is now open for public view until February 27, 2015, from 11 am to 7
pm.
